Magic Globe is an engaging story designed to interest and challenge young children. While on vacation at her grandpa’s house, Mia accidentally discovers a mysterious piece of astronomical machinery with secret powers that can change the world’s seasons. Mia’s eccentric uncle tries to trick Mia into using the tool’s secret powers but she quickly realizes the consequences of their actions. The movie is followed by a live star show.

Experience being on the deck of the voyaging canoe Hōkūleʻa as you explore traditional Polynesian navigation. Learn how to read the stars and interpret the winds and waves to navigate without modern instruments. This movie tells the story of the Polynesian Voyaging Society and the recovery of the nearly lost art and science of traditional, non-instrument navigation in Hawaii. The movie is followed by a live star show.

Visit Ingram Planetarium at 5:30 PM on any of these dates – June 29, July 13, July 27, August 17, or August 31 – for an escape room experience like no other! Voyage to the moon in the planetarium and complete fun and interactive missions to save your lunar outpost. This interactive game-based program, perfect for adventurers eight years old and up, is a great way for children and adults to explore what it might be like for future lunar explorers on the moon’s surface. This program is free to the public and is part of the Moon and Beyond: An Immersive Game for STEM Learning in Museums and Planetariums project, a collaborative initiative between the National Informal STEM Education Network and NASA.
